About Us

The team started in 2013 when a small group of players gathered at Intimacy with Christ College Maraba in Nasarawa State. They had a strong passion for the game and often traveled to Abuja for local competitions. Eventually, they caught the attention of Barr. Tom Ndah Tukura, who generously provided basketball shoes, jerseys, and covered their fees to participate in leagues across Abuja. Inspired by their benefactor, they named themselves TNT Panthers Basketball Academy.

As they kept winning, their reputation grew higher and higher! But they faced a challenge – finding a place where all the young champions from different parts of Abuja could train together. And that’s when fate stepped in, and they found Package B at Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja. It became their special place, where they practiced and improved their skills.

But the story doesn’t end there. The team’s passion and dedication attracted more sponsors, including Alhaji Mubarak, Sam Oguche – Bullet Energy Ambassador, Ambassador Auwal, and Coach Reza Masomi from Texas, USA. They revitalized the academy and helped the rising stars achieve even greater success.

Yet, knowing the true essence of unity and inclusivity, the academy underwent a powerful rebirth in late 2022. Embracing the dawn of change, it was christened Teens N’ Twenties, an evocative name that symbolizes a bond forged by diverse sponsors, ensuring that no one could dismiss it as a mere “one man” club. Young talents from every walk of life found solace under this glorious banner.

This, my dear reader, is not just a tale of triumph and success, but a testament to the undying spirit of camaraderie, passion, and unwavering belief in the power of dreams. Brace yourself, for the Teens N’ Twenties journey has only just begun, with countless more victories and legacy-defining moments awaiting this extraordinary assembly of talent!

Today, the TNT Basketball Academy is proud to have over 200 talented children who are passionate about basketball. We are dedicated to shaping the future of these aspiring athletes. We have formed partnerships with Infinitum Sports Nigeria Ltd and Ebere Ijere Foundation (EIF) that have allowed us to expand our influence globally. Together, we are building a community that values the limitless potential and immense joy of the beautiful game.

To effectively engage the youths at the grassroot level by developing their physical skills and minds through basketball activities.
To bring their talents in the game to the forefront with the aim of settling them in future
To mentor, instill the fear of God and love for humanity in them at an early age in a group where each child would be free to be themselves in the field of play.
