TNT Girls Claim Red Bull 3x3 Title in Lagos, Set to Represent Nigeria in the Philippines

TNT Basketball Academy has another moment to celebrate, as its girls' team won the Red Bull 3x3 tournament in Lagos this evening, capping off a dominant run with a championship that comes with international stakes: TNT will now represent Nigeria at the Red Bull 3x3 competition in the Philippines.

The Lagos title adds to what has already been a landmark stretch for the academy, following closely on the heels of Nigeria's silver medal finish at the FIBA U18 Women's AfroBasket, where TNT products Lawrence Becky and point guard Favor Aleje Sunday (Cecilia) starred on the national team alongside assistant coach Murtala Abdullahi. Now, TNT's girls have delivered a statement of their own on home soil, taking down the competition in the fast-paced, high-pressure format that 3x3 basketball demands.

Earning the right to represent Nigeria on the international stage in the Philippines is no small feat, and it's a reflection of the depth TNT has built across its programmes, not just producing individual talent for national teams, but fielding a unit capable of winning outright and carrying the country's colors into global competition.

TNT Basketball Academy congratulates its girls' team on the Red Bull 3x3 title and wishes them the very best as they prepare to represent Nigeria in the Philippines.
